|
In order to keep your dormitory a pleasant place, your cooperation is highly appreciated. These rules and manners are necessary for the personal living quality of the residents. Residents are required to read the following articles for the safety and proper operation of the dormitory.
If you have any questions please ask staff members of the manager's office.

(Greeting)
* In any time and place, greetings and mutual respect are the bases of community life. |
|
(Notice Board)
* Please pay attention to Notice Board for notice and matters for your information.
|
|
(Manager's office -
opening times)
* The office hours are open from 9:00am until 9:00pm during weekdays and 9:00am until 6:00pm
on Saturday.
* The office is closed on Sunday and public holidays.
|
|
(Visitors)
* Visitors must have permission of the manager to enter the dormitory. *
Visitors who have permission are allowed to visit between 9:00am and 9:00pm.
* Non-resident visitors must leave the dormitory before 9:00pm.
|
|
(After 10:00pm)
* Residents may not visit rooms of other residents after 10:00pm.
* Please keep quiet after 10:00pm.

|
(Shoe cupboard)
* Please use the shoe cupboard that has your room number on it.
* Please wear your indoor shoes inside the dormitory.
|
|
(Rest room)
* Please keep the restroom clean.
* Smoking is not allowed in the restroom.
|
|
(Kitchen)
* The kitchen is open from 6:00am until 12:00pm.
* Please stay in the kitchen while cooking.
* When you have finished cooking, please clean the working surface, cookware, tables and
chairs and put them in order.

|
(Washroom)
* Please keep the sink; mirror and floor dry with a dust cloth or mob that you can find in the
washroom.
|
|
(Bathroom and shower room)
* The bathroom and shower room are open from 6:00am until 12:00pm.
* The ventilation fan must be working at all times to avoid mold.
* Wipe off drops of water on the floor if you wet it.

|
(Study room)
* No eating and drinking in the study room are allowed.
* When you are finished, please put the desks and chairs
back in order.
* The last person who leaves the study room last must turn off lights and the air conditioner.

|
(Computer room)
* Please keep the usage of computers up to 30 minuets.
* Please do not visit website that contains unpleasant contents, such as violent and adult contents.
* While using the computer, keep the volume down.

|
(Common Area)
* Do not leave your personal belongings in community areas.
* Do not use the public power source.
* Please keep community places clean.
|
|
(Individual
Rooms)
* Please clean the room at least once a week. If your room is found too dirty, manager will request you to clean your room.
* Please do not use fire in your room.
* Do not place any objects on or near the veranda: it is an evacuation route.

|
(Smoking)
* Japanese law prohibits smoking under the age of 20.
* Smoking is only allowed in the smoking designated areas.
* Cigarette butts must be thrown in ashtrays.

|
(Drinking)
* Japanese law prohibits drinking under the age of 20.
* Drinking can be prohibited if it causes trouble to people inside the dormitory.

|
(Pets)
* Residents are not allowed to keep pets in the dormitory.
|
|
(Extended absence)
* When you plan to leave the dormitory for an extended period of time (for home country visits) please contact the manager for the necessary procedures. In case of an absence of seven days or more the resident will be exempted of the public fee for the duration of the absence. (Minus the departure and arrival day)

(Closing time)
* Please contact the manager in advance if you plan to stay out after 10:00pm.
(For work as well as pleasure)

|
(Payment)
* Residents must pay the room fees and public utility charges between the 20th and 25th of
each month.
|
|
(About the rules)
* These rules and manners are in compliance with the Japanese law and 'J-Dream Dormitory
Rules'.
